Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and who sees it — in plain language. Last updated October 15, 2026.
This policy covers the Tech Peace website and membership, run by Tech Peace LLC ("Tech Peace," "we," "us"). The Online Companion browser extension has its own, more detailed privacy policy.
What we collect
- Sign-up and account details: your name, email address, phone number, and your password (stored securely by our account provider; we cannot read it).
- Membership details: your address, the devices you want help with, your chosen plan, appointments you book, and notes our team keeps so we can help you well.
- Payment details: your card number goes straight to Stripe and never reaches our systems. We keep only the card brand, last four digits, expiry date, and Stripe's reference numbers so you can recognise your card and we can manage your subscription.
- Messages you send us: contact forms, emails, and survey answers.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs such as your IP address and browser type, used to keep the site working and secure.
How we use it
- To provide your membership, support and appointments.
- To take payment and manage your subscription.
- To email you about your account, and, if you chose it, tech tips and scam alerts.
- To answer your questions and keep the service secure.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run Tech Peace, each handling data on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Supabase — our account and member database.
- Resend — sending our emails.
- Vercel — hosting this website.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone from fraud or harm.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open and for as long afterwards as needed for billing records, legal obligations and resolving disputes. You can ask us to delete your account and personal information at any time.
Your choices
- See or correct your details in your account settings, or ask us to.
- Unsubscribe from tips and alerts from any email or in your settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to delete it.
Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm it is really you first.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access to member records is limited to our team, and payment card data is handled by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to protect yours.
Children
Tech Peace is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date, and email you if the change is significant.
